Playamarina Hotel - Ayamonte

My friend and I recently enjoyed a totally relaxing holiday at a fantastic, quiet hotel. the location was perfect, very near to the sea and in the cool air from the ocean. the hotel had a lovely beach, which was quite close and absolutely beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean with a large bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. the breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, including freshly made crepes. We also had a great view of the sea from our room.

The only slight drawback was the lack of shopping facilities nearby.

Huge nice room. We appreciated this hotel. Restaurante Minutero is within short walking distance to the property.

We had an enjoyable time and loved sitting at the terrace. Special note of thanks to chef. There was Chiringuito la Sonrisa, located nearby, where we relaxed. Staff and people could not be better...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of both the exteriors and interiors was excellent. The pool area was particularly nice, offering a great spot to relax and cool off. The hotel facilities were great with everything we needed. the location was perfect as it was quite close to the beach and also to the local harbor. We enjoyed starting our day with a delicious breakfast and the staff were friendly.

Bed Rooms

The Public area were cold, and by far the only real problem was the self service food was not warm enough, so we had to warm most of it in the Microwave. Considering it was Mid Winter we did not expect all facilities in the Hotel or in the surrounding area to be open. I could recommend this Hotel for the Quiet Holiday we needed. It was adequate for our Christmas 2010 requirements.

The food was very poor ,the hot buffet was cold and not much to choose from .no entertainment for adults.

Very spacious and excellent room and bathroom, very close to the beach. Comfortable beds. Very rich buffet breakfast; altough the choice was the same all the days, there was a lot to choose from. Very helpful the staff at the reception.

It is a family hotel, full of screaming children at all the hours of the day and of the night (!) and their mothers screaming even more (despite we were there at the end of September), tourists in shorts. If you are searching for a romantic holiday, you risk to be disappointed.

The location is perfect - it is in a quiet area and right on the beach. We loved being able to walk just across the boardwalk and be on the beautiful sandy beach. The close proximity to the beach was lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Our family had a great holiday by the beach! The hotel had easy access to the beach and the swimming pool area was well-maintained and not crowded. Rooms were spacious, clean, and had great views. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The food options were limited and repetitive. The snacks were average and not appetizing.

Had a great Xmas break! Loved the beautiful pool and the fantastic views of the sea from the balcony. the location was perfect, close to the beach and with great restaurants nearby. the staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We also enjoyed the free spa voucher offered to us.

The rooms were a bit outdated and could do with some renovation. We had a bit of trouble finding our way around the hotel due to poor signage.
